Lately I have found that kids are searching for some ways that they can make money online.

My son who is 10yrs old is always asking for different ideas on how he can make money with his computer. I think it is good that he is interested at such a young age. If he can learn now, then there is a possibility that he may never have to work for anyone but himself.

So if you are a kid looking to earn some extra cash online, then I will share with you some of the ideas that
I told my son. These ideas are really the same for kids and adults.

1.) Blogging - Anyone can go to http://www.blogger.com/ and setup an account to start blogging. Simply find a subject to talk about that others would be interested in too. Maybe you can start a blog about the different ways that kids can make money online. You can go into detail and show them step-by-step what to do. Just make sure you pick a subject that truly interests you.

How do you make money blogging? Easy, get your parent or guardian to sign up for a free google adsense account. Google adsense are small advertisements you sometimes see on websites or blogs. You get paid everytime a visitor clicks on the ads. The amount varies, but can be anywhere from .01 to $1.00+ depending on the keyword popularity. Right now just know that you get paid for clicks. Be sure never, never to click on those ads yourself or Google will immediately kick you out of the adsense program.

2.) Affiliate Marketing - There are multiple networks available that offer anyone the opportunity to sell their products. You can find my favorite affiliate networks here: www.lootswoop.com/free_money_list .
Once you sign up as an affiliate you can refer people to purchase the products. When someone makes a purchase you will earn a percentage of the profits. Normally 15%-75%.

There are many affiliate marketers making crazy incomes selling other peoples products. The key is to find free ways to advertise the products.

I suggest posting on message boards, writing about your products in a blog, or writing an article about the product and submitting to article databases. There are other free ways, but I have found these to work best for me.

3.) MySpace - Don't forget about the #1 networking site on the Internet. If you can build a network of friends using MySpace then you can refer them to products that you are an affiliate of. Myspace even lets you blog right within your account.

You can have fun making money with myspace. Just introduce and meet different people, then when the opportunity presents itself try to send them to one of your affiliate sites, products, or adsense. You want to make sure that you don't come across as a salesperson or you may lose them or worse yet be reported for spamming.

Your goal is to build a network of friends and every now and then mention a product that they may already be interested in that you can be affiliated with. Again this is a SOFT sell.

Note: As a kid you must be aware of people that you are networking with. Always have your parents permission for anything that you do.

Those are some ideas for kids or an adult to start making money online.
