I can only speak my through my own experiences when it comes to MLM / Network Marketing. And here is what I have found.
My interest in MLM / Network Marketing started about 12 yrs ago. I was introduced to a company named Herbalife. Maybe you have heard of them. Herbalife is one of the largest and most reputable MLM / Network Marketing companies around. They are actually traded on the stock exchange.
Well, back then the key was to make a list of everyone you know and then go tell them all about the wonderful opportunity that you have run across. I did this and did get some success. I actually recruited 5 of my friends into the business. I was excited, because in my first month I had already earned over $200 in sales. I felt that was a great start.
Soon reality set in. Within the next month, 3 of my friends just decided to quit. 1 other buddy that had joined didn't really do anything. He wasn't motivated. And my list of family and friends had about depleated. I didn't know what to do so I quit myself. Very frustrated with the whole MLM / Network Marketing Opportunity.
Over the years this same thing happened with 3 other companies. My family laughed at me every time they saw me coming with some new product to sell.
Needless to say I eventually just hung it up and tried other things that were more direct and didn't involve recruiting a bunch of people.
I read on MLM / Network Marketing from time to time and saw that 97% of the people who join will fail within the 1st year. Atleast if you start a regular business you will have a 1 out of 5 chance of succeeding.
I have nothing against MLM / Network Marketing. I think it can be a very successful business for people with a HUGE amount of drive and high tolerance for rejection. If you have that, then you can be very, very ,very successful with MLM / Network Marketing.
But with times MLM / Network Marketing has changed and I have been reintroduced to the new model. A Model that is easy to implement and profit with.
You don't have to:
Bug or harass friends and family
Talk to anyone
Hard sell any products
Spend hours on the phone
Invest money that you don't have
As a matter of fact, the system runs 90% on autopilot. The other 10% is just simply getting people to your free website. And there are multiple ways of doing that. Some are even free to do.
