If, during the second quarter you sense the game is losing viewer interest, because one team is so far ahead, try to arrange for your cooked food to be ready as soon as halftime begins. In other words, put those steaks, chicken legs, hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill later than sooner.

Put together a contest for the guests to see who can come up with winning predictions for the second half of the game. This could be how many total points will be scored, which team will be scored first, the number of field goals are kicked, and who is selected as super bowl MVP. Most of the time, your guests will be enjoying your party regardless of the score at halftime.
